Gary Sheehan, CPGA
Head Golf Professional
Bio: Gary Sheehan, originally a native of Souris, PEI, graduated from the Georgian College Professional Golf Management Program, just north of Barrie, Ontario. While attending school Gary began his professional career working at the very prestigious Westmount Golf & Country Club, in Kitchener, Ontario.
After several years in Ontario, Gary returned to the Maritimes where he completed his apprenticeship at the Bell Bay Golf Club in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. Both of these facilities served as a great training ground to develop and fine tune his golf instruction expertise and his knowledge of quality golf operations.
Gary is committed to enhancing people’s enjoyment of the game. As a member of the Canadian PGA, Gary has several years experience teaching private, semi-private, golf schools and clinics. He will readily provide golf instruction to all those who may be looking to cure their slice, improve their course management or lower their handicap.
Gary’s Teaching Philosophy: Gary's greatest satisfaction as a professional is having the opportunity to take a beginner golfer who may never have picked up a club and provide them the fundamentals to develop their golf swing, make good ball contact, and see consistent improvement.
Golf Achievements: Finished 5th on the order of Merit for the Molson Canadian Professional Golf Tour (Kitchener, Ontario 2004)
